4. SARZ
Sarz with the popular appellation ‘Sarz on the Beat’ succeded in remaining on the list of top producers. His real name is Osabuohien Osaretin. Most people often hear this especially at the beginning and end of his music productions. It is no surprise that Sarz is among the famous music producers in Nigeria currently. It was a not the typical hectic year [in comparison to his output in past years] for the iconic producer but his effort and work in the production of some songs gave himhis outstanding recognisition for the year.
He mastermindedly delivered some chart-topping hits with ‘Bad Energy’ by Skepta and Wizkid, ‘Diet’ by DJ Enimoney, the street jam ‘Lakukulala’ by Oladips and ‘Bana’ by the beautiful and talented Niniola. He also worked on his individual project that saw the release of the popular heavy song ‘Balenciaga’.
5. SPEROACHBEATZ
The producer who took the faith to move his abode fromAbuja to Lagos is definitely not regreting his decision and he grew more quickly in the industry within the year.
His upbeat effortsand determination have gainedhim roots in the industry and gotten his name outstanding recognition due to his affiliation with DMW records. He successfully produced ‘Assurance’ by Davido, ‘Kpa’ by Dremo and assisted in co-producing ‘wa Baby’ but his most acclaimed contribution in the year 2018 was the hit song ‘Amaka’ by the Legend 2face featuring Peruzzi.
